And the tulips are still going

From the darkness and cold room back on the kitchen table. Will they bloom this time or ever??

Spring day on the island

The garlic survived the snow and fight for space with the acorn.

The first snowdrop, Galanthus nivalis, showed up in the white flower bed

Grafting and the destroyed clothes

One day we will see Åkerö apple tree bloom on the Island. The first step is to graft the stock with the decided apple spices. Your life and clothes are in danger with the sharp knife. The plaster is a precaution not an accident.

So you have to exercise and cut again and again as the cuts must fit to each other.

Finally the stems are back in the soil well tightened waiting for the spring.

Thursday brick in the wall

When the day was over the wall was ready. Emelie and the girls continued with the tiles. The boys measured the lawn moving key figures on the snow covered football arena!!

As you might recognize the pigeons to the right, they are the Kensington type and the lonely one to the left made his living in the Tuileries, I’m curious about whether they speak the same language?

Who like to be a gardner trainee here? Mile after mile with hedges that need pruning. Lasses hedge is a pice of cake if you compare.
