Fàynap

Fày day or school day
National hymn
speeches,

and poems.

In my room...

The redish thing to the left is part of the inventory list dated November 12 1997.
I will bring the pepper back to Sweden if it is alive when I go back.

It is possible to do the ironing on the bed.

With a trained eye you can see that the curtain is a bit too short why the sunrise wakes me up every morning. These days even before the church bell

In the morning the pepper project however..

after lunch I went with Betti to the University of Agricultural Sciences in Gödöllö.

We met Tamás and András who work with pepper research and know everything worth to know about how to grow pepper and a lot more.

They shoved how to grow but also diseases and other weaknesses on the plant as well what to do to avoid sick plants.

One way is to graft the plant.

We also visited the Gödöllö arboretum. An amazing place founded in 1902, on an area of 190 hectares, for the purpose of naturalizing tree species suitable for planting on sandy, plain land. Now it's more like an english garden however with a lot of conifers. It looks like Ekolsund.

Rescue conference

My accommodation facility that normally is silent and empty, held a rescue conference today and the area was full of fire brigade activities.

The pepper project proceeds slowly. The clayish soil is hard and we’ve to filter it before we bring it in to the bed. The bed is 8x2x0,5 so it’s about 8kbm to fill in and we all know that the density of soil during transportation is lower than it’s in the bed so it’s many wheelbarrows to fill before we finish. Today “Bela” joined the team so now we are two.
The tomato potting continuous as well and the girls try to teach me the Hungarian words for soil, pot, plant and tomato. We’ll see its two more weeks to go so maybe….

This is a regular stop on my way home from school. I just have to smell the fragrance from the spring flowers.

Life is fair

Working on my sun tan!!!

To be filled up before we can start planting pepper. Work to be done in the morning hours before the sun is to hot for the old man.

To avoid the mid day sun we work in the greenhouse potting tomatoes and watering the plants.

The young boys do the lawn moving.
